Remote Work Application (MO)
Remote work, or when an employee works from somewhere other than the normal office or business location, is increasingly common and can benefit both employees and the companies they work for. It allows work to be done even if the employee can't physically be in the office, and means that employees spend less of their valuable time commuting.
Most often remote work means working from home, but it could also mean working from other locations like coffee shops, co-working spaces, libraries, etc. Employees could do all of their work remotely, or have a "hybrid" schedule where they sometimes work remotely and sometimes work from the office or normal business location. When hiring, allowing remote work can expand your applicant pool and let you consider more qualified employees.
However, remote work may not be for everyone and may not suit all jobs at your company. This form lets an employee request a remote working arrangement and allows you to approve the request, approve it with modifications, or deny the request. You can customize the application by including remote/in-office schedules in a variety of formats, check boxes for different criteria if applicable, a second approver signature line, etc.
This application can be used with or without a separate, written Remote Work Policy.
