Landscaping Maintenance Agreement (MN)
Use this document for the provision of landscaping services such as lawn mowing, edging, trimming shrubs, fertilizing, mulching, etc. This agreement is intended to be used for maintenance of existing landscape, not for landscaping improvement projects such as plantings of flowers, shrubs or trees, laying of sod, construction of rock walls or patios. Landscaping improvement projects (as opposed to ongoing maintenance) may be subject to your statutory requirements for home improvement projects which are not included in this agreement.
It will allow you to clearly set out:
- Specific landscaping services being provided, the areas to be maintained and the frequency of the services
- Invoicing and payment terms, including options to specify different payment amounts depending on the month
- Any special landscaping services that might be provided
It is suitable for use whether the services are provided on a one-time basis, or on a regular ongoing basis and can be used by either the landscaper or the client requiring the landscaping services. In the case of application of fertilizers, weed control or other chemicals to lawns, the landscaper should be sure to comply with any state specific laws and licensing requirements.
